Launcher not working

If the launcher is not working, please first check that you have a working Internet connection and that a firewall/anti-virus software is not blocking launcher's access to it.

Windows

To fix this problem for Windows computers, please follow these instructions:

  1. Uninstall the app.
  2. Delete folders: C:\users\username\AppData\Roaming\Yousician Launcher\Yousician.app\ and C:\users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Yousician (the folder directory may vary depending on your Windows username.) AppData folder might be hidden so you might need to do this:

  3. Run a Disk Cleanup to remove temp files, and
  4. Reinstall the app.

Then run the Yousician Launcher.exe again, it should download the app and start running correctly.

Also Yousician might not start properly if you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 and have not installed the latest OS updates. Read here how to fix that.

Mac OS X

Launcher problems on Mac OS X are usually resolved by deleting all Yousician files from your machine and installing the app again.
