After selecting Voice as your instrument, you can calibrate your vocal range so that exercises and songs are in the right range for you.
First find your most comfortable low note. To do this, sing as low as you comfortably can, and slide down with your voice, landing on the lowest note you can sing without straining your voice.
To finish up, you can find your most comfortable high note. To do this, sing as high as you can, and slide up with your voice, landing on the highest note you can sing comfortably without straining your voice.
That’s it, you’re done and know your vocal range.
At any point, you can calibrate your vocal range again by pressing this button from the Home screen:
If Yousician does not pick up your voice, check your audio setup, as seen in setting up your microphone. Audio Setup can be accessed from the vocal range menu, or via the settings menu on the main Yousician home screen.
